Saturday - 11 January
Get ready to level up your tech skills at JOSA CyberCamp, a dynamic program designed for teens aged 15–18 who are curious about the world of Linux, cybersecurity, and networking. Whether you're an aspiring tech enthusiast or simply eager to learn how things work behind the screen, this camp offers a hands-on, engaging experience powered by the open source hardware Rapberry Pi.
Across eight exciting days, you’ll start with the fundamentals of Linux and cybersecurity—learning how to navigate systems, secure networks, and understand the basics of digital privacy. Then, you’ll dive into real-world projects like building a USB key sanitizer to protect against malware, setting up a network-wide ad blocker, creating a honeypot to analyze potential threats, and exploring ethical WiFi hacking with a Raspberry Pi.
This isn’t just a tech class; it’s a chance to gain practical skills, create cool projects, and meet like-minded peers in a fun and supportive environment. Whether you’re blocking ads or building secure systems, you’ll leave with knowledge and tools that can make a difference in the digital world—and your own future.
