Ever felt like you're being judged by some invisible robot overlord? You're not alone! This month, our book club is diving headfirst into the world of algorithms, data, and all the ways they can mess with our lives.

Those numbers and equations we all hated in school can be pretty scary when they're used to make big decisions about our lives. From job applications to loan approvals, algorithms are calling the shots. But are they fair? Are they accurate? And are they even human?

It's like trying to understand a magic trick without knowing the secret. So, we're on a mission to figure it all out. We'll be talking about how math can be biased, how it can affect different people in different ways, and whether there's anything we can do about it.
